What this desk records and what it does not

A static judging desk with no accounts and no checkout. What is collected, what is deliberately not collected, what stays in your browser, and how to reach us.

The short version

This is a static site. There is no account system, no login, no checkout and no payment step anywhere on it. Nothing you type into a gauge is transmitted to this desk, because every gauge runs entirely inside your browser.

The only information this desk ever holds about a reader is what that reader chooses to send through the correction channel, and the aggregate visit counts that any web server keeps.

What is collected

Two categories, and only two. First, standard server request data: the pages requested, the time of the request, a truncated network address and the browser identifier your client sends. This is what any web host records in order to serve pages and to notice abuse. It is retained by the hosting provider under its own policy.

Second, whatever you write into a correction report. That means the object you are reporting on, the observation you are making, the type of evidence you are describing, and any contact route you choose to give. If you send nothing, this desk holds nothing about you beyond the request data above.

What is deliberately not collected

No names, no addresses and no payment details, because there is no form on this site that asks for them. No order history, because this desk never sees an order. No cross-site tracking identifiers, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting scripts and no session recording.

Gauge inputs deserve a specific mention. Order values, quantities, declared values, measurement figures and partial refund rates that you type into a calculator stay in the page you are looking at. They are not posted anywhere, not written to storage and not included in any request this site makes.

What is stored in your browser

One item, and it is optional. When a page tells you that it is due for re-check, you may dismiss that notice; the dismissal is remembered in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear on every visit. It contains no identifier and it is never uploaded.

Clearing site data in your browser removes it. If your browser blocks local storage, the notice simply reappears on each visit and nothing else changes.

Some pages carry links to a partner catalogue. When you follow one, the partner receives the request along with a marker that tells them the visit came from this desk. That marker is how the partner knows a visit originated here; it carries nothing about you personally.

Once you are on the partner's site, their privacy terms apply and not these. This desk cannot see what you do there and does not receive your order details from them.

How long things are kept

Correction reports are kept while the page they concern is still published, because a report is part of the record for that page. If a report leads to a change, the change is logged with a date and the report itself is retained as the reason for it. If a report leads to nothing, it is discarded once the reasoning is recorded.

Server request data is retained by the hosting provider on their schedule, which this desk does not control.

Your choices

You can read every page here without sending anything. You can use every gauge without sending anything. You can send a correction with no contact route at all, in which case this desk cannot reply but can still act on the observation.

If you have sent a correction and want it removed, say so through the same channel and it will be deleted along with any contact detail attached to it.

Changes to this page

When this policy changes, the change is recorded in the change archive with a date and a one-line reason, and the date at the foot of this page moves. This desk does not silently edit its own terms.
