Carrier matrix
Region by carrier tiers, with the freight and transit bands behind each cell — and a label where there is no sample.
The gauge
| Region | Economy | Standard | Express |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | no sample | no sample | no sample |
| United Kingdom | no sample | no sample | no sample |
| Core EU | no sample | no sample | no sample |
| Canada | no sample | no sample | no sample |
| Australia | no sample | no sample | no sample |
| Latin America | no sample | no sample | no sample |
Steady cells hold a narrow reported range. Volatile cells hold a range wide enough that a single quote is not representative. A no-sample cell means this desk has nothing behind it, so no figure is shown.

How to read the result
- Read down a column to compare regions on one carrier tier, or across a row to compare tiers into one region.
- A steady cell means reported outcomes cluster; a volatile cell means the range is wide; a no-sample cell means this desk has nothing behind it.
- Sample sizes sit inside each cell. A cell with a dozen observations is a hint, not a schedule.
- Use the matrix with the cover gauge: a volatile lane is where the absorption test starts to matter.
How it is put together
Each cell holds a freight band and a transit band collected from buyer-reported outcomes, plus the number of observations behind them. Cells with no observations are labelled rather than estimated.
Freight and transit bands carry source types and check dates, at the highest review tier because carrier terms change without notice.
What it cannot do
- Cells report what buyers recorded, not what a carrier promises.
- It does not model peak season surcharges beyond the recorded range.
- Regions are grouped. Two countries in the same row can behave differently.
Parameters
This gauge carries 6 linked judging points and was last read on 26 Sep 2026. Its figures are recorded with a source type and an observation count; changes to any of them are logged in the change archive.
