Size bridge
Maps a tag size onto the measured band buyers reported, then compares it with a garment that already fits you.

| Recorded chest band | 100–106 cm |

| Your measurement | not entered |
Measure a garment that already fits you across the chest, seam to seam, and double it. Until that figure is entered, this gauge shows the recorded band only.
Parameters: size.jerseys.chest.M (checked 23 Sep 2026) · size.shrink.rate (checked 23 Sep 2026)
How to read the result
- Measure a garment that fits you across the chest, seam to seam, and double it. That figure goes in the measurement field.
- Without a measurement the gauge shows the recorded band only. It will not guess.
- Turn the shrinkage band on to see the same tag after a first cold wash. The two figures can straddle your measurement.
- A tag that sits at the edge of the band is a query, not a match. Ask for the flat measurement of the exact garment.
How it is put together
Each recorded tag maps to a chest range collected from buyer measurements. Your measurement is tested for inclusion in that range, with a six centimetre tolerance band around it before a result is called out of range. Shrinkage is applied as a percentage band to produce the after-wash figure.
Chest bands are recorded per tag with a sample size and a check date. Shrinkage is an editorial band for printed sportswear after one cold wash.
What it cannot do
- Recorded bands cover S, M, L and XL for jerseys. Other tags need the flat measurement from the seller.
- Cut varies between builds, so a band is a range and not a specification.
- It does not model shoulder width, sleeve length or body length.
